Setting Message of the Day options in My Workspace

In the Home tool of My Workspace, you will see messages from your system administrator under "Message of the Day". You can control how these messages appear as follows:

  1. In My Workspace, click Home.

  2. Under "Message of the Day", click Options.

  3. You can choose to show only the subject of the recent announcements (Show announcement subject) or show the entire text of the announcements (Show announcement body). Additional options for displaying announcements include how many lines to display, and how many days in the past to display announcements from. Enter or choose your desired options in the boxes provided, and then click Update.

Setting MOTD options as a site administrator

To set MOTD options for a site as a site administrator:

Note: To use this tool, you must have administrator rights.

  1. In My Workspace, click MOTD.

  2. At the top of the screen, click Options.

  3. Choose your desired options for how you want announcements to display, and then click Update.
